“We had a very positive experience purchasing a car at Myers Barrhaven Subaru. Calvin was the person leading us through the whole process from day 1 and until the pick up day. His approach was super friendly and respectful of our wishes. We didn’t feel pressured and Calvin did an excellent job of working within our budget. He has an extensive knowledge of different Subaru models and trims as well as what competition has to offer. We were always able to reach him via cellphone and answers were prompt and to the point. Another person we want to mention is Reem, financial services manager. It is often at this point that car buying experience goes sour due to very aggressive upselling of services. Not in this case. Just like with Calvin, there was no pressure; relevant information was presented to us and various options explained – with us choosing what’s needed, if anything. I haven’t bought a new car in 14 years , I did a tonof research on the Forester Wilderness and felt it was the best choice for me as I keep my vehicles, until they’re finished. “I have been in the market for a used Forester since June. I have been to other Subaru dealerships across Ottawa and GTA but clearly Calvin, my salesperson from Barrhaven Subaru, has the best knowledge of the product and provides me the best purchase experience. Although I told him I was looking for a used Forester but still would like to test drive a new Forester, he let me test drive both!
